A society is not only measured by the performance of its markets, but by its ability to make room for each of its children. As part of our societal commitments, the ALMASI teams had the immense privilege of dedicating an entire day to the residents of the Bepanda Multifunctional Center (CMB). A meeting placed under the sign of inclusion, sharing and dignity. Far from theoretical discourse, we wanted a concrete, sensorial and profoundly human action. This day was punctuated by moments of exchange and shared creation: Plastic art and modeling workshops: where disability was erased to make way for raw and barrier-free creativity.
Culinary and beauty workshops: precious moments of transmission, self-esteem and conviviality.
A shared meal: because it is around a table that the most sincere bonds are woven and true fraternity is expressed. What we took away from it: Beyond the shared smiles, we left the CMB with a deep sense of gratitude. The residents reminded us of an essential lesson: resilience and joie de vivre do not depend on circumstances, but on the consideration we give each other.
For ALMASI, this visit is not an isolated event on a CSR calendar. It’s a mission. We consider that as leading economic actors, we have a duty to act so that our fellow citizens with disabilities are never left behind in the development of our sub-region.
The financial and economic inclusion that we advocate on a daily basis only makes sense if it is accompanied by real social inclusion on the ground. We are more motivated than ever to multiply these initiatives.
