The first edition of the Diamond Capital Convention (DCC), organized by Almasi Capital & Advisory from September 23 to 25, 2026 in Douala, brought together public authorities, regulators, banks, investors, entrepreneurs and young people for three days under the theme “Development, innovation and inclusion: the levers of the CEMAC financial market”.
With more than 3,500 registrants and more than 3,000 visitors, this meeting made an impression and caught the attention of the national press. Cameroon Tribune and Cameroon Business Today looked back at the highlights of the event: the official launch, the discussions on the access of companies to the financial market, the regulator’s commitment to more transparent markets, as well as the ambition to make Douala a financial hub in Central Africa.
